With the new online community, one of the ways to connect alumnae is through a Community Group in your town, whether Knoxville, Charlotte, New York or LA. These groups can talk online and organize group meetings and projects by using the site. By choosing "Class Years" in the Menu bar, you will be linked to your classmates as well as GPS alums by location.
Our goal is to foster the continuation of long-lasting GPS friendships and to spur conversations and new connections.
We would like to extend an invitation to you to join these groups and maybe even help the Advancement team in organizing them. If you would like to be an active area leader, please contact us at rkirk@gps.edu.
Ideas for group meetings may include the following:
Take a dance class together.
Volunteer at a soup kitchen or in the building of a Habitat house.
Attend festivals, concerts, or sporting events.
